May 29, 2010      5th Annual “Evening of Taste” - June 25, 2010

Fairhaven’s Homecoming Weekend kicks off on Friday evening, June 25, 2010 from 5:00 - 6:30 PM at Fairhaven High School with the 5th annual “Evening of Taste”.  First started in 2006 as an event to honor the 100th birthday of F.H.S., the event received such rave reviews, that the Fairhaven High School’s Alumni Board of Directors decided to make it an annual event on the Friday evening of Homecoming Weekend.  Over twenty local businesses and restaurants serve up samples of some of their specialty food items as alumni and friends of FHS roam the corridors and classrooms and share memories of their days at the high school.  The evening usually attracts 700 - 800 people, so try to get there early if you can.  There is no admission charge, but donations are appreciated at the door to help defray the costs of paper goods, soft drinks, custodians, etc.
