Tuesday, March 13, 2012 is the date of the annual Greater New Bedford Reunion at the Shell Factory on Route 41 in Fort Myers, Florida. The gathering always attracts a large number of FHS alums and Fairhaven residents who are retired in Florida or spending some of the winter months there.
Read more >>For the second consecutive year the Light-a-Light fundraising drive surpassed the $20,000 plateau. A total of 725 donations were made by FHS Alumni and friends of the high school for a grand total of $20,660. The average donation ($28.50) is the highest that we have ever received in the 27 years of the fundraiser.

Read more >>The Fairhaven High School Class of 1954 has undertaken a project to engrave a raised FHS monogram on the outside front of the building in the center outside of Room 7 (see photo). Three classmates from the Class of 1954, John Medeiros, Bernie Roderick and Mary Jane (Silveira) Sylvia, have received permission from the Fairhaven School Department to contract Rex Monuments to put an embossed, raised “FHS” monogram in what is now a “blank” spot below the Knipe Auditorium windows.
Read more >>On Friday, January 13th, 2012 at 7:00pm there will be a casual evening of music and poetry offered by the students, faculty and alumni of Fairhaven High School to benefit the Fairhaven Association for Music Education.
The event will be held at the First Congregational Church in Babbitt Hall, at 34 Center Street in Fairhaven. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students, and refreshments will be available for sale.
